From the Editor…
Long time readers will no-doubt be aware that here at Ultra VW, we love an oddity.
Hence, this issue was a real treat for us, as there are some rare and unusual rides inside! Perhaps the prettiest of them being the Brazilian-built Karmann Ghia TC. This model is one of the rarest of all here in Europe (and anywhere outside of Brazil for that matter), and I’m sure you’ll love the mixture of angular and curved body lines. There’s a hint of Porsche in the styling, but I don’t think anyone would deny that it is one quirky, yet oh-so-cool VW rarity!
We’ve also got a rough and rusty Bus on hydraulic suspension, a cool RHD Karmann Ghia coupé daily driver, two of the sweetest Type 3s you’ve ever seen plus a wartime survivor, too! That’s as well as a great selection of events covering everything from camping, through cruising and even a little drag racing. In short, there’s a wide-range of material covering as much of the scene as possible.
But, we’re always looking for fresh ideas, feature car suggestions and, of course, feedback from you, the readers.
Feel free to Email us with ideas, feature suggestions or even just a few pictures of your car (we always love to see what folk are up to!).
And, if you’re a Facebook user, be sure to find Ultra VW and get involved!
